are you trying to run all of this from a server that supports php, or just your desktop? Using a server should fix the problem.

So adam, during this video you said “If i am making a website for somebody…” So do you actually make websites for people?
If so I would like to ask if you could make one for me my YouTube Channel is SilvernightStudios, contact me there or comment on my videos if you can do this for me, if this is not possible, im fine and thank-you for your time.

Hy adam, i can’t manage to send info from flash to .php. Actualy it seems that my flash doesn’t run the actual “hit_parse.php”.
My conclusion comes from the fact that the variables from php are null.

I am trying to make a flash counter that is a swf file and put it on my webpage. It isn’t working? I don’t know what I did but I made the dynamic text over an image and published the file and put it on my page in Dreamweaver and it doesn’t display the numbers, though the text file I created does show the number going up. I am assuming the php file and text file is working but for some reason it is not linking (or whatever lol) to the actual image? Someone place help!

If you are a web designer or interested in web design, you should visit staticwebsites. net

Not sure… many times a popular website will not allow external scripts to run in flash embeds… so the PHP file might not get connected to. Try it out…

Very neat! One question though, if you were to upload the thing to a site like NewGrounds, would it still detect how many views it has?

Your web browser needs it… for instance if you use FireFox, type into search engine….
Flash Player Version Check… and check that you have latest for that browser.
